Private messenger · Windows · Android · iOS · Web
Family chat that keeps to itself.
End-to-end encrypted messaging for the people you trust. Invite-only, phone-book simple — with messages that can vanish after they're read.
Free while in beta · No ads, no tracking · Your phone number stays hidden
Says less. Protects more.
Weke Chat does the few things a family messenger should do — and refuses to do the rest. Everything below ships today.
Disappearing messages
Per-chat timers: read once, or gone 1 minute, 1 hour or 1 day after being read — for everyone, with no "message deleted" litter left behind.
Reply from the notification
Answer straight from the toast on Windows, the notification on Android, or the banner on iOS — without opening the app. Turn it off with one switch if you prefer.
QR & NFC invites
Show your code, or just hold two Android phones together — your contact passes over NFC. What's shared is a hashed ID, never your phone number.
Encrypted by default
Every chat is end-to-end encrypted from the first message. A 6-digit PIN restores your history on a new phone.
Private 1:1 calls
Voice and video calls ring on the lock screen and carry the same end-to-end encryption as your messages.
Family groups in 3 taps
Small, calm groups for the people who matter. Adding or removing someone rotates the keys automatically.
Up and running in a minute
No usernames to invent, no accounts to babysit.
Verify your phone
One SMS code. Your number becomes a hidden, hashed ID — other people never see it.
Invite your people
Share a QR code, tap phones together over NFC, or send an invite link. The network is invite-only by design.
Chat everywhere
Windows, Android, iOS and the web — one account, the same encrypted history, restored by your PIN.
Fair questions
Why is it invite-only?
Because a family messenger doesn't need strangers. New people join through an invite from someone already inside, which keeps spam and scraping out of the network.
Do disappearing messages really disappear?
Messages are deleted for every participant after the timer you set, and the deletion is also enforced server-side. As with any messenger, someone can always photograph their screen — a timer protects against data piling up, not against a person you don't trust.
What can the server see?
Not your messages — they're end-to-end encrypted. Like every chat service, the server necessarily handles delivery metadata (who talks to whom, and when). We keep that to the minimum and spell out the details in the privacy notes.
What does it cost?
Nothing while Weke Chat is in beta. No ads and no selling of data — the plan is paid premium options later, never your attention.
Bring your people over.
